Cowpoke Hat
You might be tempted to think that a “cowpoke hat” is likely a term used colloquially for a cowboy hat, and you wouldn’t be, but in this case things are a little more specific. The cowpoke hat we’re talking about here is a distinctive piece of stylish and cheeky headwear made by some clever folks with a sense of humor. The cowpoke hat is a baseball cap, as you can see below:

The cowpoke hat comes ina. few flavors, combinations of white and red being the most common. And you’d be doing yourself a favor if you kept that brim nice and flat, so the hipsters don’t laff at you (we all know how much we crave their approval).
with a wide brim and a high crown, typically made of felt or straw. It has become a symbol of Western culture and is often associated with cowboys, ranchers, and rodeo participants. The wide brim provides shade from the sun and protection from the elements, while the high crown allows for ventilation.
The terms “cowpoke” and “cowboy” are often used interchangeably to refer to someone who works with cattle, especially in a ranching or cowboy tradition. So, a cowpoke hat in most cases would simply be a hat worn by cowboys or ranchers. But again, that’s not what we mean here. This cowpoke hat ain’t a hunk of t-bone beef, it’s a grade ‘a’ ballpark frankfurter served in steaming bun of irony, for all of you kids who still have a sense of humor.
